Speedway Australia Supports SCCA Statement
Speedway Australia would like to offer its full support to the Sprintcar Control Council of Australia (SCCA) regarding its division approval process.
Speedway Australia would like to offer its full support to the Sprintcar Control Council of Australia (SCCA) regarding its division approval process.
The SCCA recently released a statement pertaining to V8 Wingless Sprintcars and have now been informed of another potential class of Sprintcar to be known as a 305.
The SCCA does not support the introduction of either a V8 wingless, or any new V8 Sprintcar class, with or without a wing.
In accordance with its policy regarding the approval of new racing divisions, Speedway Australia would like to offer its full support to the SCCA in this matter, and will not endorse or recognise either of these divisons without the SCCA's approval.
Speedway Australia would also like to advise competitors and venues that allowing unrecognised divisions to race, or competing in unrecognised divisions, can jeopardise their protection under the Speedway Australia Group Personal Injury Insurance Policy and Public Liability Insurance Scheme.
