Simpson Speedway hosted the annual Front Row Challenge for Australian Wingless Sprints, with an incident packed feature race coming down to the final corner.

25-lap A-Main podium - V45 James Wren, 2nd V69 Robbie Paton, 3rd V60 Lee Meade.

Mark Balcombe and Glenn Watts tied for high points following heat racing, with Balcombe making the decision to go to the rear for a shot at $1000. He inverted the top five points scorers, taking with him Watts, Andy Hibbert, Paul Robilliard and Jeff Judd.

Hibbert was the only one of the five to complete the A-Main.
