One of the more unique speedway venues in Victoria will play host to an Australian Wingless Sprint club show this Saturday night.

The nomination list for this weekend’s Simpson event is headed by Bushfield racer Paul Robilliard and this seasons Parr Motorsports Super Six Series round winner at the venue, local gun Luke Weel.

Gary Balcombe returns to driving duties along with youngest son Leigh in the pair of Colac Body Works backed Stinger Chassis, while the likes of former Sprintcar ace Quentin Tanner and the ever-improving Sean McKeever are also in the hunt for victory.

Glenn Jones again tackles the Bungador bulling, while Steve Hodder as well as Scott and Paul Drew may also fancy their chances in such a field, which again includes Ashley Armistead and Ray Klemm.

All cars are to be in the pits by 6pm, with racing to get under way from 7pm.
