Australian Wingless Sprints Racing have joined Thursday Thunder and will have their racing and their drivers and teams on the show each week, commencing on Thursday, September 9.

AWSR President Allan Woods was keen to get the fastest growing Speedway division involved in the ground-breaking new internet TV show on the ground level.

“From the minute I saw what Darren, Wade and Trevor had planned with that pilot show I knew we had to be involved. Our category is growing fast and this is a great chance to promote our racing on a worldwide scale. We’re really excited.”

Thursday Thunder too is keen to have them on board.

“Wingless Sprint Racing is going ahead in leaps and bounds, you only have to look at the number of them racing at tracks around the country,” says TT Host and Producer Wade Aunger, “they have a great formula that is obviously cost effective because new drivers are coming out of the woodwork. Not only do they have plenty of cars but they look fantastic too. There’s some really tremendous looking gear out there.”

Each week (show) will feature the latest news from the AWSR category with regular interviews either in-studio or on the phone from drivers and teams across the country.

“We’re looking forward to promoting the men and women of the AWSR not only here in Australia but across the world,” says Thursday Thunder Commercial Manager Darren Disbury,” I hope many other categories will follow suit and get on board. We’d love to speak with them.”
