The Oval Track Imports Wingless Sprint Series returns to Renmark for the 2nd round of the series this Saturday, February 4. A healthy field of 15 cars have nominated for the nights racing.

Todd Wigzell who holds the series lead off the back of his feature race win in the opening round will be one of the favourites for victory on Saturday.

Cody Atkins, Jarman Dalitz and Mikayla Hein are all close behind on points and will be trying to stop Wigzell from extending his lead. Daniel Obst and Shannon Barry will also be challenging Wigzell for the victory on Saturday night.

Brett Bartley, Chris Ferrall, Brad Evans, Lucy Evans, Robert Heard, Anthony McMillan, Chris Jones and Greg Cunningham will be aiming for a strong performance. Kym ‘Whity’ Whitrow will also be making his debut in a Wingless Sprint at Renmark.

All drivers will compete in 2 heat races each, with the top 6 drivers competing in a dash. The dash will determine the top 6 starting positions for the 20 lap feature, while positions 7 and onward being decided by points.
