Wingless Sprints return to Heytesbury Stockfeeds Simpson Speedway this Saturday night for the 28th running of the Peter Merrett Trophy Race.

The event appears to be wide open with any number of drivers capable of victory. Sam Wren finished runner-up last season, Luke Weel has showed good pace recently and Mark Balcombe is a perennial front runner on the Simpson clay. Sean McKeever is fresh from victory at Laang last weekend and will be joined by the likes of 2010 winner Glenn Watts, Chris Halesworth, Jason Langdon, Kane Newcombe and Phil Johnson.

All cars are to be in the pits by 4.30pm with racing from 6pm.
